If you’re having trouble updating your LightOS, please try the steps below:
-Make sure the battery is at least 25%
-Connect the phone to Wi-Fi
-Go to Settings > Account & Info > Device Info > Update LightOS
If these fails, please try:
-Temporarily adjusting the screen timeout to 10 mins (settings > preferences > display > sleep timer)
-Powering the phone off and back on
-Removing podcast/music tool from the phone if you have them on, trying update, then re-adding after the update completes.
If the above steps fail, please try clearing the phone (Settings > Account & Info > Factory Reset), then re-sync your contacts (Settings > Preferences > Phone > Contacts > Sync Contacts > Sync Now). Please note: this will delete your message/call history).
