It's important to have control over your Light Phone notifications. You can choose the kinds of ringtones and alerts you would like for calls, messages, and the alarm.
Choosing the Sounds
Open Settings > Notifications > Select sounds for Calls, Messages or Alerts
Note: the alarm, calendar and timer tool all share the alerts setting
Notification Options:
Silent: Incoming call/alert will not make a sound or vibrate, but the screen will wake.
Vibrate Only: the alarm will vibrate but will not make any sound
Various Sound Options: click on a name to preview its sound
Setting the Ringer
Using the volume buttons you can control the ringer volume, this is for incoming calls and texts and will override the Settings > Notification sound.
Do Not Disturb: The phone will not respond at all during an incoming call.
Silent: Incoming call will not make a sound or vibrate, but the screen will wake displaying the caller and option to answer the call.
Vibrate Only: the alarm will vibrate but will not make any sound
Ringer Level: Choose levels 1-7 for the ringer volume.
Alarm/Calendar/Timer Alerts
These three tools share the alert channel, which will always use the same sound. You can change the level of that by using the volume buttons while in either the alarm, calendar or timer tool.
Note: in the calendar tool settings you can override the alerting setting for the calendar tool if you'd like to silence all calendar alerts for instance.
Turning OFF New Acitvity Icon (*)
When you have an unread notification, either a new message or missed call, there is a new activity icon (*) on the lock screen next to the time to indicate this.
You can enable or disable this icon in the settings.
Open Settings > Notifications > Toggle ON / OFF "New Activity (*)" option.
Vibrate + Ring Setting
There is a toggle for "Vibrate + Ring", this setting when enabled means that in addition to the audible ringtone, the phone will also vibrate.
